While shopping for spring flowers one year, I happened to notice a swallowtail butterfly on the vivid pink blossoms at the plant shop. This design came about in that moment. 

Wool strip hooked on linen foundation, with some yarn as well. Much of the wool is hand dyed by me. Fiberfill interior.
